My maternity sessions are relaxed, easy, and centered around the connection you already have with your little one.
I'll help with outfits, guide you the whole way, and make sure you never have to wonder what to do.
You don't need modeling experience or Pinterest-perfect poses.
Just show up ready to love on your growing family. I'll handle the rest.
When should I schedule my maternity session?
Most maternity sessions take place between 28 and 34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully visible but you're still comfortable enough to move around and enjoy your session.
If you're expecting multiples or have a high-risk pregnancy, we can always plan for an earlier date.

The earlier you reach out, the more flexibility we'll have with dates, locations, and golden-hour timing.

When should I schedule my maternity session?
I typically recommend scheduling your maternity session between 32-36 weeks! Of course there are some stories that would benefit from an earlier session, such as if your pregnancy is higher risk, or if you are carrying multiples.
What should we wear for our maternity session?
Long flowy dresses are always so beautiful and a great option! Coordinate colors with your family, but steer away from matching. Plan mom's outfit first, then everyone else will fall into place. I have a Pinterest board with ideas, and my texts are always open for more help!
What’s the best time to have a maternity session in the Puyallup area?
Golden hour! You've likely heard this before, but for good reason. It is truly THE best light. I shoot either early morning or during golden hour about an hour before sunset.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
You're definitely not alone. Almost every family tells me this before their session.
I will bring my secret stash of ridiculously silly questions for your kids to open up and relax, laugh, and have fun. We will dance, silly walk, play games, and you will forget all about the camera.
Where is the best place to have a maternity session around the Tacoma area?
SO many great options! We'll choose a location together based on the look you love. Whether you're dreaming of wildflowers, tall grass, mountain views, a beach, or something close to home, I'll help you find the perfect spot.
What if it rains?
Valid, we do live in the PNW and weather can be unpredictable sometimes.
We can do an in home session! Your maternity session just got a lot more comfortable, and the details of your home add a beautiful personal touch to your photos.
OR we can reschedule for another day when the weather is more ideal for an outdoor maternity session.
